Job description

As a McLane Driver, you are the face of our company to our customers. You are the person they see week after week. You will develop strong relationships that create value and trust with our customers. The variety of tasks you will perform on each route helps you stay engaged with the work. Great customer service skills are a plus!

Responsibilities include:

1. Operating a non-CDL box truck to deliver food staples and specialty products to customer locations.
2. Loading and unloading products at customer sites, using a dolly or hand truck if needed.
3. Documenting trip data, receipts, delivery exceptions, and vehicle issues.
4. Performing warehouse-related duties when not making deliveries.
5. Working safely to prevent injury and product damage.

Qualifications:

1. At least 21 years of age.
2. Current driver's license with an acceptable driving record (2 or fewer moving violations in the past 3 years and no DWI/DUI in the past 5 years).
3. DOT physical.
4. Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 75 pounds.

Preferred qualifications include commercial driving experience and flexibility with schedule. Candidates may undergo background checks and drug screening in accordance with laws.
