Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is seeking a CDL-A truck driver to join our delivery team in Sulphur, LA. You will deliver materials to customers, operate a pallet jack, and assist with loading and unloading while following safety policies.

The role offers Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with pay starting at $22/hour and potential for overtime, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and paid time off. Home daily with no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of commercial truck driving experience preferred.
• Must hold a valid CDL Class A.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must maintain valid DOT Medical card.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers using pallet jack and dolly, ensure delivery ticket accompanies material.
• Pick up customer returns and validate product match for credits.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel as needed; report issues to supervisor.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse with picking, receiving, staging and stocking materials.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of commercial truck driving experience is strongly preferred
• Must hold a valid CDL Class A
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads

Responsibilities:

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes utilizing pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload and ensuring delivery of ticket with material
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Pay Range:

$18.30 - $29.22

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
