Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. is hiring a CDL delivery driver in Sioux Falls to load, transport and unload materials to customer sites, using pallet jacks and dollies, while ensuring delivery tickets are accurate and compliant with safety policies.

You will support warehouse operations and maintain courteous, professional communication with customers. Candidates must hold a valid CDL, be at least 21, and meet DOT standards, with a valid DOT medical card; lifting up to 50 lbs and operating iPads are

• Must maintain a valid DOT Medical card.
• Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.
• Background in warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
• Strong communicator with a customer focus.
• Able to operate basic technology including iPads.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers using pallet jack and two-wheel dolly; ensure delivery ticket accuracy.
• Pickup customer returns and validate product for credits.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; refuel and report issues.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse team with pulling, stocking and staging orders; overtime as needed.
• Adhere to PPE requirements and safety regulations.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM and some overtime as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid CDL
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads

Responsibilities:

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes utilizing pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload and ensuring delivery of ticket with material
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material
• Ability to work overtime as neededMust adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

• Pay Range: - $18.30 - $29.22
• Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
• This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
• Ferguson complies with all wage regulations.
• The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
