Ferguson is seeking a CDL delivery driver in Grimes, IA. Starting at $27.00 per hour and higher based on experience, the role runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Requirements include a valid CDL, be at least 21, and 1+ years of CDL driving experience preferred. You will deliver materials, load/unload with pallet jack, and ensure safety and accuracy in daily tasks. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers using pallet jack and dolly, ensuring ticket matches.
• Pick up customer returns and validate product for credit.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, fuel as needed, report issues.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with pulling and preparing orders for shipment; receive and stock materials.
• Work overtime as needed and wear PPE as required.

Hours are Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid CDL
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• 1+ years of CDL driving experience preferred
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations
• Must currently, have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads

Responsibilities:

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes utilizing pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload and ensuring delivery of ticket with material
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Pay Range:

$19.26 - $30.76

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
