Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC in Garner, NC is hiring a delivery driver. You will deliver plumbing and HVAC materials to customers, inspect and operate company vehicles, and maintain safety standards with equipment like pallet jacks and dollies.

Qualified candidates hold CDL Class A or B and are at least 21. A clean driving record, ability to lift 50 lbs, and comfort with iPads are required. Schedule is Mon-Fri 5:00am-2:00pm with potential overtime; competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class A or Class B license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Prior flatbed experience is preferred.
• Meet and maintain CDL requirements.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Must have/maintain a valid DOT Medical card.
• Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.
• Background in warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer using pallet jack and dolly, ensuring proper delivery tickets.
• Pick up customer returns and validate products for credit requests.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Follow and implement all safety policies and PPE rules.
• Assist warehouse with pulling, packing, staging and stocking material.
• Work overtime as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid CDL Class A or Class B
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Prior flatbed experience is preferred
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads

Responsibilities:

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes utilizing pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload and ensuring delivery of ticket with material
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• *Pre-employment drug and background screening required*

Pay Range:

• - $19.26 - $30.76 - Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
• - This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
• - Ferguson complies with all wage regulations.
• The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
