Job summary

Amarr Company in Manassas, VA is hiring a delivery truck driver for a Monday–Friday schedule (7:30am–4pm) with a pay rate of $26-$31/hour. The role involves frequent lifting, loading/unloading, and non-climate controlled warehouse work in a safety-focused environment.

• Assist in warehouse production orders when not driving.
• Load and unload customer materials, inspect for damage.
• Receive incoming product and verify quantities and condition.

Job description

This is a physically demanding job with consistent heavy lifting in a non-climate controlled environment. Please only apply if you are comfortable working in those conditions.

In this position you will:

• Provide deliveries to customers in a safe and timely manner while strictly following Amarr’s policies spelled out in the Driver Handbook (including pre-trip, inspections, log books, safe driving, etc.).
• Keep all drivers certification documents ready and available for display at all times.
• Assist in the completion of production orders in warehouse when not driving.
• Accurately load & unload customers. (Inspect for damaged materials).
• Unload and accurately receive incoming product.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license.
• Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience required (2+ years preferred).
• Minimum 1 year experience driving box trucks or similar.
• Warehouse duties performed in a non-climate controlled environment.
• Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines.
• Frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting (50-75 lbs.).
• Ability to meet and comply with DOT regulations.
• Successfully complete internal Driver Training Program
• Motor Vehicle report must meet Amarr’s s driver standards
• Must be 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent.

The Details:

This position is Monday - Friday from 7:30am – 4pm, however flexibility is required in case early or late deliveries are needed. The pay rate is $26-31/hr based on but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications . Additional compensation can include driving bonuses and target bonuses.
