Hayden Beverage Co. is seeking a Delivery Trainer for our Boise, ID team. The role focuses on safely operating company vehicles, training new staff to run routes, and helping drivers obtain Class A or B CDL credentials.

The position requires attention to safety, inventory control, and customer service excellence. Qualified candidates will supervise drivers, cover routes during vacations, perform vehicle inspections, and maintain stock at customer accounts.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company vehicle in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

• Cover routes when drivers are on vacation.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and daily maintenance checks.
• Verify inventory counts during deliveries to customers.
• Maintain back-stock and rotate stock to ensure freshness at each account.
• Fluency in email, VIP, and basic computer skills.
• Obtain forklift and riding pallet jack certifications as needed.

We are currently hiring an Delivery Trainer for our Boise team.

Compensation: $25 per hourSchedule: Tuesday through Saturday (starting at 5am MST)

Delivery Trainer Job Details

• To safely operate a company vehicle in compliance with all state and federal safety and administrative requirements, as well as following and promoting the HBC safety policy.
• Thoroughly train new employees to successfully run their route, on their own with minimal follow-up once the training is complete.
• Train new employees to be successfully obtain a route‑specific class A, or class B CDL.
• Supervise assigned drivers to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Cover the routes of those drivers when they are on vacation.
• Perform Pre- & post- trip inspections of delivery vehicle plus complete truck maintenance checklist on a daily basis.
• Verify inventory counts when delivering products to customers.Service customer accounts in a professional manner. This position requires employee to have direct contact with customers.
• Maintain back-stock of product in each account, rotate stock to maintain freshness, stocking shelves at each account.This position requires fluency in email, VIP, and basic computer skills
• Ability to obtain forklift and riding pallet jack certification.Ability to understand product picking processes.

Job Qualifications

• Acceptable Motor Vehicle record and valid driver's license
• Pre-employment drug testing and background
• Able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 60 pounds and 158 pound kegs
• Ability to obtain and maintain DOT Medical Card
• Have and maintain Class A CDL
