Job summary

Accendra Health in Phoenix Metro is seeking a Delivery Technician to safely deliver, set up, and pick up durable medical equipment in patient homes. You will educate patients on equipment use and provide high-quality customer service as part of a committed care team.

The role emphasizes patient safety, independence, and clear on‑call expectations, with a stable schedule, ongoing training, and opportunities to grow within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift, carry and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs as part of daily deliveries and set-ups.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one-year of related work experience is required.
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Completion of Apria’s Driver Training Program.
  • English reading, writing, and speaking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Safely lift, carry, and maneuver equipment ranging from 10 lbs – 160 lbs as part of daily deliveries and setups.
  • Deliver, set up, and pick up DME and supplies inside patient homes.
  • Provide clear, compassionate, professional instruction on equipment use.
  • Offer a high level of customer service and support to patients who may rely on this equipment for life-sustaining needs.
  • Load and unload equipment from the delivery vehicle.
  • Respond to emergency delivery requests when needed.
  • Complete delivery logs, pickup forms, and vehicle documentation accurately.
  • Maintain supply components in patient profiles.
  • Assist with equipment cleaning and minor repairs.
  • Perform routine vehicle checks.
  • Support additional duties as assigned.

About the Role The Delivery Technician delivers, sets up, and picks up durable medical equipment (DME) in patient homes. You will educate patients on basic equipment use and ensure safe operation while providing high‑quality customer service.

  • Techs can take vehicle home for on‑call duties – With management approval

  • Service radius up to 2 hours from the branch
  • Salary Range $21.00–$23.00 per hour
  • Pay varies based on experience, skills, and location
  • Eligible for Safe Driver Bonus
