Job summary

Sysco Detroit (Sygma Detroit) is seeking a Driver Helper in Monroe, MI to assist delivery drivers by unloading products and ensuring quality at customer locations. You may travel between stops to assist with deliveries and communicate any issues with orders.

The role requires basic arithmetic and the ability to operate handcarts or pallet jacks. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and safety rules must be followed in all warehouse activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and perform basic arithmetic.
• Experience with handcarts or pallet jacks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist delivery driver by unloading and checking quality of products at customer locations.
• Shuttle between delivery stops to assist with deliveries as needed.
• Call in if customer orders are short or incomplete.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and respectfully.
• Operate company equipment following safety rules and perform pre-trip inspections.
