Job summary

Johnson Brothers Liquor Company is seeking a Delivery Supervisor in Orlando, FL to lead CDL and non-CDL delivery drivers and manage the daily operations of the delivery department. You will ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective distribution, coach drivers, and drive route optimization to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities include coaching, regulatory compliance, safety leadership, and monitoring KPIs. This position offers full-time hours and opportunities to impact operational performance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of transportation experience
• CDL license preferred
• Experience managing a company-owned commercial fleet, including preventive maintenance, vehicle repairs, regulatory compliance, and asset utilization
• Working knowledge of fleet maintenance best practices, commercial vehicle systems, and DOT inspection and maintenance requirements
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to analyze operational and financial performance data
• Proficient with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of CDL and Non CDL delivery drivers
• Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, ELD, and Hours of Service regulations
• Conduct driver coaching, ride-alongs, performance reviews, and corrective action plans
• Analyze routing efficiency and identify opportunities to reduce miles, labor, and transportation costs
• Oversee the external maintenance providers of the company-owned delivery fleet to ensure vehicles are safe and available
• Manage labor scheduling, overtime, and staffing levels to meet operational demands
• Ensure vehicle inspections, equipment utilization, and maintenance issues are addressed
• Investigate accidents, injuries, and customer service incidents with corrective actions
• Lead pre-shift meetings emphasizing safety, customer service, and priorities
• Review transportation KPIs including On-time delivery, PM Compliance, Delivery accuracy, DVIR Compliance, DOT compliance, Accident frequency, Driver productivity, Cost per stop, Cases per mile, Route efficiency

Job Description

• This position has primary responsibility for coordinating delivery operations including routing, delivering and backhauling activities.

The Delivery Supervisor is responsible for leading the daily operations of the delivery department to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective distribution of products to customers. This role provides direct leadership to CDL and Non CDL delivery drivers and while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and customer service standards. The supervisor drives operational performance through coaching, route optimization, safety leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives.
