Job summary

Amazon is hiring a Delivery Station Warehouse Associate at our Florida delivery station in Groveland. You’ll be part of the last stop before we deliver smiles to customers, loading conveyors, sorting, and preparing parcels for delivery.

You’ll use smartphones and handheld devices to scan orders, build and transport pallets, and receive truck deliveries. Shifts include Early Morning and Overnight options with Full-Time, Reduced-Time, Part-Time, and Flex-Time schedules.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years or older.
• Understand and follow instructions in the required language.
• Lift up to 49 pounds.
• View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks.
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around.
• Go up and down stairs (where applicable).
• Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Receive and prepare packages for delivery
• Use technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders into delivery bags and vans
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages
• Receive truck deliveries of customer packages
