Job summary

USPS is hiring City Carrier Assistants nationwide. No prior experience is required, as USPS provides comprehensive paid training to set you up for success. Openings exist across the country with starting pay of $23.47 to $38.62 per hour and an annual compensation up to $72,400 with a full benefits package.

You will deliver mail on assigned routes, help customers with inquiries, sort mail and perform basic administrative duties, with health, retirement and life insurance benefits.

Responsibilities

• Delivering Mail: Deliver mail and packages to homes and businesses on assigned routes
• Customer Assistance: Help customers with postal inquiries and service requests
• Sorting Mail: Organize and prepare mail by size, shape, and route for accurate delivery
• Administrative Duties: Maintain delivery records and support basic clerical operations
