Carter Lumber is seeking a Delivery Specialist in Indiana to transport orders to customers safely and on time using company vehicles. You will support our customers with friendly, professional service and help ensure daily delivery schedules are met.

If needed, you may assist in the yard to meet weekly hours, and there are opportunities for advancement within our growing, family-owned company that values honesty and hard work.

Formación

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials or large items.
• Clean driving record where required by state law.
• Ability to be a team player and provide friendly, professional service.

• Deliver orders to customers safely and on time using company vehicles.
• Maintain friendly, professional customer interactions during delivery.
• Assist in yard duties when deliveries slow to reach weekly hours.

Description
As one of our Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting orders to customers in a safe and timely manner using a company vehicle. You will ensure that daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional customer service. If deliveries slow down, you have the opportunity to help in the Yard to ensure you reach your weekly hours goal.

Requirements

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials, furniture, appliances and other large items that need to be handled with care
• An acceptable driving record (some states require a chauffeur, class C or class D license)
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred
• Ability to be a team player
• A friendly, customer-service-driven personality
