Job summary

Kighthomecenter in Richmond, Indiana is seeking a Delivery Specialist to transport orders to customers safely and efficiently. This role emphasizes excellent customer service and reliability. You will play a key part in ensuring delivery schedules are met while also having opportunities to assist in the Yard when deliveries slow down.

Qualifications

• Experience with delivery of large items like building materials or furniture.
• An acceptable driving record; chauffeur's license preferred.
• Familiarity with delivery equipment is a plus.

• Assist in the Yard during slow delivery periods to meet weekly hours.

Description

As one of our Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting orders to customers in a safe and timely manner using a company vehicle. You will ensure that daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional customer service. If deliveries slow down, you have the opportunity to help in the Yard to ensure you reach your weekly hours goal.

Requirements

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials, furniture, appliances and other large items that need to be handled with care
• An acceptable driving record (some states require a chauffeur, class C or class D license)
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred
• Ability to be a team player
• A friendly, customer-service-driven personality
