Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is looking for a Delivery Driver to transport parts and products to stores and distribution centers in a safe, professional manner. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and help serve a diverse customer base.

Responsibilities include delivering on set routes, verifying invoices, maintaining route manifests, and clocking in/out according to policy. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required, with safety and customer service as top priorities.

Qualifications

• Must have valid state driver’s license and driving eligibility

• Driving record must meet company 14/18-point standard
• Fluency in multiple languages is a plus, with Spanish highly desired

• Maintain daily route manifest for deliveries
• Keep fleet/fuel card, vehicle and keys secure
• Verify invoices and have stores sign the route manifest
• Report delays to the city delivery supervisor and stores on route
• Present professional image and communicate issues to store management
• Clock in/out per company policy
• Check vehicle fluids and log mileage daily
• Report maintenance needs and ensure vehicle is locked at day’s end
• Drive safely and defensively

Deliver parts and/or products to O’Reilly stores and DC in a safe and efficient manner.

Essential Job Functions

• Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and/or distribution center. Must have legal required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements. Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on set route, deliver to appropriate store.
• Maintain daily city route manifest for deliveries.
• Responsible for keeping fleet/fuel card, vehicle and keys secure. Must be familiar with accident report guidelines.
• Ensure designated team member at each store verifies all invoices and signs the route manifest. Deliveries must be made according to set schedule and any delays reported to city delivery supervisor and/or stores remaining on route.
• Project professional and personable image to maintain good customer relations. Communicate any problems or special needs from stores to store management.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Check fluid levels, i.e., oil, radiator, transmission, etc., and log mileage prior to operating vehicle each day.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately to store manager. Ensure fuel tank is filled, lock and secure vehicle at end of day's business. Drive safely and defensively.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
