Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.
• Desirable familiarity with automotive parts.
• Ability to operate other light store equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, complete daily vehicle inspections, etc.
• Keep delivery vehicles clean and maintained, complete daily inspections prior to operation.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies collected at all times.
• Pickup customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special customer needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and the vehicle is secured at end of day.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Assist customers, operate as cashier, or help with merchandising as needed.
