Job summary

Carter Lumber Company is seeking a CDL Delivery Specialist to transport orders to local customer jobsites using our well-maintained, company-owned fleet. You will ensure on-time deliveries and provide professional customer service, unloading materials at the site as needed, with the option to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials.
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license.
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred.
• Ability to be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Transport orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner using the company fleet.
• Ensure daily delivery schedules are met and provide friendly customer service.
• Unload using dump bed or truck-mounted equipment as required and place materials at the jobsite.

Description

As one of our CDL Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting orders to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner using our well-maintained and company-owned fleet. You will ensure that daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional customer service. While on site, you will unload using dump bed ortruck-mounted forklift to place the customer’s materials right where they need them.

Requirements

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials
