Carter Lumber in Ravenna, OH is seeking a Delivery Specialist who takes pride in safe, timely delivery and friendly customer service. You will transport orders using a company vehicle and ensure daily delivery schedules are met.

When deliveries slow, you may assist in the Yard to hit weekly hours goals. A valid driving record and experience with building materials help, as does teamwork and a customer-service mindset. We offer room for growth and growth-focused opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials, furniture, appliances and other large items that need to be handled with care
• An acceptable driving record (some states require a chauffeur, class C or class D license)
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred
• Ability to be a team player
• A friendly, customer-service-driven personality

Responsibilities

• As one of our Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting orders to customers in a safe and timely manner using a company vehicle.
• You will ensure that daily delivery schedules are met while providing friendly and professional customer service.
• If deliveries slow down, you have the opportunity to help in the Yard to ensure you reach your weekly hours goal.
