O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist in Illinois to maintain and operate store vehicles for delivering parts and products to professional customers. The role includes collecting COD payments, handling customer returns, and supporting store operations while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. A valid state driver’s license and driving record check are required, with additional driving eligibility criteria.

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the company’s 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Maintain cleaning, upkeep, and inspections of vehicles prior to operation.
• Keep delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand-held devices, and monies collected secure at all times.
• Pick up customer returns, e.g., new, warranty, cores, and fill out driver return slip.
• Communicate any problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or vehicle damage to store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure vehicle at end of the day’s business.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including customer service, stocking, merchandising, etc.
• Occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier, and/or help with merchandising tasks when business dictates.
