Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver''s license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, complete daily vehicle inspections, etc.
• Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and perform daily inspections prior to operating.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, devices, and monies collected at all times.
• Pickup customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or accidents to store manager.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicles locked at end of day.
• Clock in/out per company policy.
• Assist customers, operate as cashier, or help with merchandising tasks as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
