O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles and deliver parts to customers. You will process deliveries with handheld devices, collect payments on COD orders, and pick up returns. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include maintaining vehicles, ensuring secure handling of keys, fuel cards, and cash, and providing excellent customer service. The role may involve cashier duties and basic merchandising tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company’s 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Process deliveries using fleet management devices, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and perform daily vehicle inspections prior to operating.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies collected at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate any problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or vehicle damage to store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure vehicle at end of day’s business.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Other duties as assigned including customer service, stocking, merchandising, and errands.
• May assist customers, serve as cashier, or help with merchandising when needed.
