Job summary

Essential duties include operating delivery vehicles, using handheld fleet devices, performing daily inspections, and maintaining security of vehicles and money. Additional tasks cover stocking, merchandising, and occasional cashiering.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
• Driving record must meet company standards.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license and meet driving eligibility requirements.
• Familiar with automotive parts.
• Ability to operate other light store equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, and update mileage.
• Keep delivery vehicles and related equipment secure and maintained.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or damage to the store manager.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and secure vehicle at day’s end.
• Clock in/out per company policy; perform other duties such as cashiering, stocking, and merchandising as needed.
