Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is hiring a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles, deliver parts to professional customers, and collect payments on COD deliveries. You will use handheld devices for processing, sign for deliveries, track mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.

The role includes handling returns, coordinating with store management, and maintaining security of vehicles and funds. The position offers $15.00–$20.00 per hour plus potential premiums, annual/quarterly incentives,

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update mileage, and complete vehicle inspections.
• Keep delivery vehicles clean, maintained, and inspected before operation.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies collected at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate customer needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or damage to the store manager.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and secure the vehicle at end of day.
• Clock in/out per policy; assist with cashier duties and stocking as needed.
