Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a delivery driver to transport parts to customers, operate company vehicles, and use handheld devices to complete deliveries and paperwork. You will ensure safety, provide excellent customer service, and support store operations daily.

The position requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to adapt to changing delivery scenarios. Bilingual skills are encouraged to apply, and benefits are offered as part of the compensation package.

Qualifications

• Driving record must meet company standards.
• Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet driving eligibility requirements.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, complete daily vehicle inspections, etc.
• Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and perform daily vehicle inspections prior to operating.
• Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, handheld devices, and monies collected at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slip.
• Communicate problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs and accidents to store manager.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle is secured at end of day.
• Clock in/out according to policy; perform other duties including customer service, stocking, merchandising, and errands.
• Occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier, and/or help with merchandising when needed.

Compensation Pay Range

$14.00 - $23.00
The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Essential Job Functions

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, complete daily vehicle inspections, etc.
• Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and complete daily vehicle inspections prior to operating.
• Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand‑held devices, and monies collected at all times.
• Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and fill out driver return slip.
• Communicate any problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or vehicle damage to store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure vehicle at end of day's business.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, general stocking and straightening stock, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in and putting up stock orders, etc.
• Occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier, and/or help with merchandising tasks when business dictates (e.g., phones, sales and service).
• All other duties as assigned.

Required:

• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18‑point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.

• Familiarity with automotive parts.
• Ability to operate other light store equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
