Job summary

Chaparral Materials, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Helper to support loading, locating job sites, backing up, preparing and restoring the job site, and readying the truck for the next day.

The role emphasizes safety, accurate paperwork, and efficient material handling across delivery routes in Las Cruces, NM. You will perform pre-trip inspections, secure loads, and navigate to customer sites while maintaining equipment and following OSHA and DOT guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately.
• Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs.
• Demonstrates integrity and servant leadership principles.
• Demonstrates ability to work independently and on a team; ability to lead, execute and/or delegate as needed, while collaborating with others to get the job done.
• Ability to self-manage, show initiative, be proactive, and drive results.
• Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing to coworkers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety compliance with company, state and federal guidelines (OSHA/DOT).
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loaded product for accuracy.
• Safely unload product and deliver to assigned area as directed by the customer.
• Secure mud, equipment, metal, and pallet on the truck; navigate routes to job sites.
