Delivery Route Driver Helper - Part Time

Priority Express at 316 Engineers Drive, Williston, VT, hiring part-time route helpers to assist drivers in delivering home furnishings and other heavy/bulky items in company vehicles to residential customers in Central and Northern VT, Northeast NY, and Northwest NH. This is a non-driving position.

Typical vehicle: 12-ft. box van. Minimum age: 18. Criminal background check is performed.

Routes average from 4 to 10 hours in length. We deliver between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., 7 days a week. Routes typically start at 8:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. Flexible schedule: work from 8 to 28 hours per week, 1 to 5 days per week.

Cars are preloaded. Helper acts as navigator using a GPS and calls customers 30 minutes prior to arrival to confirm ETA and any special requirements. At each stop the helper assists the driver in unloading and delivering items to the customer's designated location.
