Job summary

Business Essentials, a subsidiary of the Office Depot Corporation, is seeking a Delivery Route Driver for our Fridley location. You will deliver orders along a defined route, starting at 6:00 am, Monday through Friday, with the average day about 8 hours.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, delivery experience preferred, and be able to obtain a DOT medical certification. The role includes customer service duties and a background check.

Qualifications

• Prior delivery experience preferred.

• Strong customer service skills and relationship-building.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug testing.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders and products to a specific delivery route.
• Work Monday–Friday from 6:00 am until the route is complete.

Business Essentials, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Office Depot Corporation, has an immediate need for a delivery route driver in our Fridley location. Business Essentials specializes in office products, office items, office furniture, cleaning supplies, and e-commerce trade.

The Delivery Route Driver will be deliver order and product to a specific delivery route. The hours of the position are Monday - Friday from 6:00 am until the route is complete. The average driver works a standard 8 hour day.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Prior delivery experience preferred
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Certification Card
• Ability to maintain relationships with customers and good customer service skills
• Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug testing
• Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs
