Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is hiring Delivery Representatives to safely operate propane delivery trucks and service a wide customer base. You will deliver propane to residential and commercial customers, fill bulk tanks, and comply with safety regulations in all weather conditions.

The role offers daily home time, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for advancement. A valid CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Acceptable driving record.
• DOT medical exam, drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane delivery truck on assigned routes.
• Fill residential and/or commercial tanks with propane.
• Deliver propane cylinders to customers.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and AmeriGas policies.
• Wear required PPE on all shifts.
• Work 8 to 12-hour shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes
• Filling residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane

• Perform all daily functions in a safe manner by adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations in addition to all AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures
• Consistent use of required Personal Protective Equipment
• Depending on fluctuating needs, work 8 to 12-hour shifts

Requirements

• All Delivery Representatives should have a valid class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements
• Acceptable driving record
• Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test and background check
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs

The pay for this position ranges from $26.75 to $26.75 an hour, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus or commissions on completed sales depending on position.
