Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Delivery Representative to safely operate propane delivery trucks and fill tanks for residential and commercial customers. You will follow all safety policies and regulations while delivering on routes near you.

The role features a home-daily schedule, a $2,500 sign-on bonus, uniform provision, and eligibility for a 401(k) match plus propane discounts. A valid CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements and required pre-employment checks are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
• Satisfactory driving record and DOT physical, drug test and background check
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work outdoors in all weather

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided routes
• Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane
• Deliver propane cylinders to commercial/industrial customers
• Adhere to all federal/state codes and AmeriGas Safety and Procedures
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment and handle shifts of 8–12 hours

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes
• Filling residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane

• Perform all daily functions in a safe manner by adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations in addition to all AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures
• Consistent use of required Personal Protective Equipment
• Depending on fluctuating needs, work 8 to 12-hour shifts

The pay for this position ranges from $33.00 to $33.00, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus or commissions on completed sales depending on position.
