Job summary

AmeriGas is seeking a Delivery Representative to safely operate a propane delivery truck on assigned routes, fill bulk tanks, and deliver cylinders to commercial/industrial customers. You must hold a valid CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements and pass DOT, drug, and background checks.

You'll work outdoors in varying weather, lift up to 70 lbs, and enjoy benefits such as paid time off, holidays, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, uniforms, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Acceptable driving record.
• DOT physical, drug test, and background check completed.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
• Filling residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
• Delivering propane cylinders to commercial/industrial customers.
• Perform all daily safety procedures in accordance with federal/state codes and AmeriGas policies.
• Work 8 to 12-hour shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes
• Filling residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane
• Delivering propane cylinders to commercial/industrial customers
• Perform all daily functions in a safe manner by adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations in addition to all AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures
• Consistent use of required Personal Protective Equipment
• Depending on fluctuating needs, work 8 to 12-hour shifts

The pay for this position ranges from $28.50 to $29.50, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus or commissions on completed sales depending on position.
