Kaizen Collision Center in La Mesa, CA is seeking an experienced Automotive Detailer for a full-time role. The detailer will professionally finish vehicles for customer delivery, going beyond basic washing to ensure a delivery-ready result.

The position is in a fast-paced collision repair environment requiring speed with high quality. You will complete final vehicle details, support production, and ensure vehicles move efficiently toward delivery.

Qualifications

• Collision center or body shop detailing experience strongly preferred.
• Must have valid driver1s license and acceptable driving record.
• Demonstrates reliability and ownership of work.
• Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality.

Responsibilities

• Complete final details on vehicles following collision repairs.
• Wash and clean vehicle exteriors thoroughly.
• Vacuum and detail interiors.
• Clean windows, wheels, tires, door jambs, and hard-to-reach areas.
• Remove dust, compound, tape residue, fingerprints, and repair debris.
• Polish exterior surfaces when needed.
• Perform a final visual inspection before vehicles are delivered.
• Move vehicles safely throughout the facility.
• Keep the detail area clean, organized, and ready for production.
• Work with technicians, estimators, and production staff to keep vehicles moving.
