Job summary

American Tire Distributors Inc. is seeking a non-CDL Delivery Driver to ensure on-time delivery and courteous, professional customer interactions. The role emphasizes accurate product verification, safe handling, and effective communication with customers.

You will unload and stage products at customer sites, maintain required paperwork, and represent ATD with integrity. This position requires adherence to safety policies and industry regulations while supporting strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• High School or GED and 1-2 years related experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment when required.

Responsibilities

• Abide by all Company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations.
• Assist in verification of outgoing and incoming product for accuracy in terms of size, amount and type.
• Collect payments from customers in monetary form acceptable to Company.
• Efficiently unload cargo and stage products at customer's place of business.
• Ensure all administrative paperwork concerning delivery orders required to move with shipments is available for inspection and that appropriate paperwork accompanies delivery.
• Maintain professional representation of the Company in all interactions with customers and through responsible driving.
• Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations, including driver’s logs, fuel purchase records and other records required by law and Company policy.
• Occasionally operate powered industrial vehicles (forklift pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.).
• Timely transportation of product from origin to destination as assigned.
