Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a Delivery Operations Supervisor to direct and coordinate the dedicated delivery operations at the distribution center, overseeing delivery drivers, route management, and fleet maintenance.

The role requires 5+ years in a related field, a BS/BA, and may require certification; emphasis is placed on safety, hazmat and DOT compliance, training, and coaching, with a comprehensive benefits package and competitive pay.

Responsibilities

• Leads, directs and trains the delivery driver team.
• Ensures compliance with all safety, hazmat and DOT requirements.
• Manages routes to ensure the most cost efficient delivery operations.
• Oversees and performs routine vehicle inspection and maintains proper records.
• Coaches and develops delivery drivers, including accompanying drivers on routes for evaluation purposes.
