Job summary

Coca-Cola Consolidated in Conway, SC is seeking a Driver Merchandiser OnPremise to deliver products to customer locations, stock shelves, and support brand freshness.

You will maintain safety standards, build relationships with account personnel, and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on assigned vehicles on a daily basis.

Addressing rotation and display standards, you’ll help sustain our world-class brands in local accounts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain CDL permit and pass DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers on the assigned route.

• Maintain Coca-Cola stock, including damaged items and pallets.

• Keep Coca-Cola equipment and products neat and safe.
• Build strong relationships with account personnel and provide customer service.
• Accurate daily accounting of product, cash, and assets; perform Pre-trip and Post-trip inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Overview

The Driver Merchandiser OnPremise is responsible for efficiently delivering products to customer locations in a courteous, professional, compliant, safe, and timely manner. In this role, the Driver Merchandiser is also responsible for stocking products on shelves and in coolers while ensuring that appropriate rotation standards are maintained.This fast-paced position will stock and face products on shelves, displays, and in coolers and serve as an ambassador of our company and the world's most recognized brands.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliverproducts to customers on assigned route
• Fill, merchandise, and rotateproduct on displays and in cold drink equipment, according to Company standards
• Maintainand organizeCoca-Cola stock as needed, picking up damaged and date products including empty shells and pallets
• Setup and maintain merchandise and sales promotion displays
• Ensurethe neat appearance of all Coca-Cola Consolidated equipment and product in assigned accounts and maintaina safe work environment
• Fosterrelationships with account personnel and providesuperior customer service to all customers and accounts serviced
• Ensureproper accounting of product, cash, and assets daily; performdaily Pre-trip and Post-trip inspections on assigned vehicles
• Performother duties as assigned

• Past job performance must reflect dependability, initiative, professional demeanor, and the ability to exercise sound Judgment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced continuous lifting environment
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. of product repetitively
• Must have the ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck, etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance
• Availability to work some weekends and some holidays
• Previous route delivery, direct store delivery, stocking, merchandising products, or retail management experience is strongly preferred
• Excellent safety record
• Ability to read, speak, write and understand English to perform basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to obtain CDL permit and the ability to pass and maintain D.O.T. physical requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

Work environment will vary, including but not limited to exposure to weather conditions, coolers, and customer storage areas which may be non-temperature controlled
