Job summary

ABC Supply is a nationwide wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building materials. Delivery Material Handlers help ensure safe, accurate delivery from the warehouse to job sites, unloading orders with various equipment and, for rooftop deliveries, working on rooftops to complete the job.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, rooftop loading assistance, maneuvering delivery vehicles, and delivering products with a focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 75-100 lbs consistently.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and climb ladders.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Willingness to work on rooftops.
• Adhering to all safety policies and wearing required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery vehicles.
• Assist with loading products onto rooftops.
• Maneuver delivery vehicles and ensure safe operations.
• Deliver products to customers and job sites (non-CDL where applicable).
• Provide excellent customer service and verify loads for accuracy.
• Provide warehouse support as needed.

ABC Supply is the nation's largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building materials. Delivery Material Handlers at ABC assist in the safe and accurate delivery of materials from the warehouse to each job site location. They unload orders according to customer specifications with the help of various delivery equipment, including truck-mounted forklifts. Delivery Material Handlers specialize in ground and/or rooftop deliveries. For rooftop deliveries, you will physically work on rooftops to complete the job.

Specific duties may include:

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Assisting with loading products onto rooftops
• Assisting in maneuvering delivery vehicles
• Delivering product in non-CDL required vehicles
• Providing superior customer service
• Double checking all loads for accuracy and ensuring that they are thoroughly secured for delivery
• Providing warehouse support as needed

Responsibilities may include assisting with delivery of materials to customers or jobsites and delivery functions including unloading and staging of product at jobsites as assigned

Performing all duties safely

Specific qualifications include:

• Ability to lift 75-100 lbs consistently
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and climb ladders throughout complete shift
• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability and willingness to work on rooftops
• Positive attitude and team player
• Adhering to all safety policies, including wearing safety harness and other required equipment

Pay Rate Information

$21.00/hr. Based on experience & qualifications.
