Job summary

ABC Supply is seeking a Delivery Material Handler to support rooftop and ground deliveries from our Utah distribution center in South Weber. You will unload orders, assist with loading, and ensure loads are secure for on-site delivery, using forklifts and other equipment as needed.

This labor-intensive role requires standing, lifting 75–100 lbs, and working on rooftops in varying weather. A strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential; forklift experience is preferred, and training will be

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
• Assisting with loading products onto rooftops.
• Assisting in maneuvering delivery vehicles.
• Delivering product in non-CDL required vehicles.
• Double checking all loads for accuracy and securing loads for delivery.
• Providing warehouse support as needed.
• Delivering materials to customers or jobsites and staging of product.

ABC Supply is the nation’s largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building materials. Delivery Material Handlers at ABC assist in the safe and accurate delivery of materials from the warehouse to each job site location. They unload orders according to customer specifications with the help of various delivery equipment, including truck-mounted forklifts. Delivery Material Handlers specialize in ground and/or rooftop deliveries. This position is labor-intensive and requires physically handling materials. For rooftop deliveries, you will physically work on rooftops under a range of weather conditions to complete the job. May be assigned to assist with either conveyor or crane truck.

• Assisting in maneuvering delivery vehicles
• Delivering product in non-CDL required vehicles
• Double checking all loads for accuracy and ensuring that they are thoroughly secured for delivery
• Providing warehouse support as needed
• Responsibilities may include assisting with delivery of materials to customers or jobsites and delivery functions including unloading and staging of product at jobsites as assigned

Specific qualifications include:

• Must be able and willing to work on rooftops (Must not have fear of heights)
• Ability to lift 75-100 lbs consistently
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and climb ladders throughout complete shift
• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability and willingness to work on rooftops
• Positive attitude and team player
• Adhering to all safety policies, including wearing safety harness and other required equipment
