The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional capable of driving Agile delivery execution at the team level, ensuring sprint discipline, removing impediments, and enabling the delivery team to consistently deliver value. This role requires the ability to work independently, applying a thorough understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and project delivery fundamentals to keep delivery teams focused, unblocked, and continuously improving.

Your Responsibilities on the Team
  • Sprint Facilitation: Facilitate sprint ceremonies — planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives — ensuring they are productive and consistently run.
  • Impediment Removal: Remove team-level impediments and elevate blockers to the project team when resolution requires broader support.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Track sprint metrics — velocity, burndown, and cycle time — and surface trends to inform delivery decisions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Coach the delivery team on continuous improvement practices, helping the team mature its Agile execution over time.
  • Team Protection: Shield the team from external interruptions during active sprints, protecting focus and sprint commitments.
  • Cross-Team Partnership: Partner with the Portfolio/Program Manager on delivery status and cross-team dependencies to keep work aligned across the broader program.
  • Project Leadership: Lead a single team proficiently, driving the delivery of projects from inception to completion.
  • Product Development Lifecycle: Possess novice to proficient knowledge in the product development lifecycle to support project goals.
  • Communication: Demonstrate polished communication skills in both written and verbal forms, with the ability to shape the message to the audience and agenda.
  • Knowledge Areas: Apply novice to intermediate knowledge in Scope, Schedule, Quality, Resources, Communication, Risk, and Stakeholder Management to support day-to-day delivery execution.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in delivery management, Scrum Master, or related Agile delivery roles.
  • Facilitation Skills: Proven ability to facilitate Agile ceremonies effectively and keep teams engaged and productive.
  • Agile Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks and delivery best practices.
  • Metrics Proficiency: Proficiency in tracking and interpreting delivery metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time) to identify trends and risks.
  • Coaching Insight: Ability to coach teams toward stronger continuous improvement habits.
  • Lifecycle Proficiency: Proficiency in managing the project lifecycle and a novice to proficient understanding of the product development lifecycle.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences, agendas, and to elevate appropriately.
  • Knowledge Areas: Novice to intermediate proficiency in Scope, Schedule, Quality, Resources, Communication, Risk, and Stakeholder Management.
  • Collaboration: Strong partnering skills with Portfolio/Program Managers to align delivery status and manage cross-team dependencies.
Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
