Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. is seeking a delivery/order processing assistant to stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler; receive and process telephone orders; and take inventory with related paperwork.

The role requires accurate basic math, fast cash handling, proficient verbal and written communication, and the ability to navigate to delivery sites by car, read maps, and work in varying building layouts while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• Ability to take and process telephone orders accurately.
• Mathematical skills to make change quickly and correctly.
• Strong verbal and written communication with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Deliver product by car and then to doors of customers; navigate to delivery sites.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers; navigate to addresses within designated delivery area.
• Read maps and locate addresses; navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings and private homes.
