Job summary

Johnson Health Tech North America is seeking a Delivery & Installation Technician I in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will deliver and install products, assemble on site and handle shipping/receiving tasks with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1-2 years of delivery/assembly experience, a valid driver’s license, and DOT certification. Competitive hourly pay plus tips and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of delivery and assembly experience with a strong customer service-oriented background preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for local travel.
• Position will be subjected to pre-employment and annual motor vehicle record (mvr) checks.
• Must successfully complete DOT certification to drive on behalf of the company.
• Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Loading the delivery truck and verifying correct product before leaving the building.
• Deliver product to customers home/facility safely and correctly.
• Assemble product correctly to ensure safe working order upon leaving site.
• Maintain a safe driving record and DOT compliance.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors and colleagues to ensure smooth delivery.
• Manage deliveries to events and shows as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and perform regular vehicle inspections.
• Ensure timely invoicing of deliveries and installations.
• Safeguard fuel cards and company credit cards.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and other duties as assigned
