Job summary

Colonial Group in Kokomo, IN is seeking a Delivery Driver to join our team. This fast-paced, store-based role includes driving, installing, moving, and demonstrating merchandise, as well as showing customers how to use products.

You’ll spend time inside and outside the store, support daily operations, and connect with customers in the community. The position offers competitive pay, benefits, and a schedule that may vary with family-friendly weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age for positions in the United States (18 in Canada).
• Requires a valid driver’s license and compliance with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy, including satisfactory driving record.
• Must be able to be DOT certified, if required in location of position (United States Only).
• Ability to work a schedule with hours varying from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 300 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another associate.
• Ability to work in all outdoor weather conditions, including rain and summer heat.

Responsibilities

• Stage, load, and appropriately secure products, and safely operate the company vehicle.
• Unload, install, and demonstrate merchandise.
• Assist with cleaning and organizing merchandise within the store.
• Maintain accurate daily route sheets and weekly maintenance sheets.
