Job summary

1915 South is hiring a Delivery Helper to deliver, assemble, and install furniture and related items at customers' homes or businesses. You will ensure safe, on-time deliveries, verify operation, and provide a positive service experience while coordinating with dispatch and warehouse teams.

The role includes lifting up to 150+ lbs with assistance, working across weekdays, weekends, and holidays, and complying with company policies and DOT regulations. A high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Able to lift and maneuver furniture up to 150+ lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, assemble, and install products in customers' homes or businesses with care and professionalism.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery according to scheduled appointments.
• Unpack, assemble, and install products as per manufacturer guidelines.
• Test functionality and confirm proper operation before leaving the site.
• Provide courteous, professional experiences during delivery and setup.
• Follow all safety protocols for lifting, handling, and transporting items.
• Adhere to DOT regulations for driving and delivery.
• Maintain delivery logs and customer signatures.
• Work with dispatch, warehouse, and customer service teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in training new team members when needed.
