Pella Mid-Atlantic, Inc. is seeking a Driver Helper to assist the Delivery Driver with loading, unloading, and safe, timely delivery of our windows and doors. This role supports customer interactions and requires teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

You will work as part of a two-person team, helping verify paperwork and ensuring routes stay on schedule, while practicing proper lifting and safety procedures. A valid license and HS diploma are preferred.

Competenze

• Must have active driver’s license.
• Able to lift and carry 75–100 lbs repeatedly.
• Two-person team with Delivery Driver.
• Background checks and drug screens performed on all candidates.
• Delivery, warehouse, or construction experience is a plus but not required.

Mansioni

• Assist Driver in loading and unloading trucks by hand, ensuring products are secure and protected from damage.
• Deliver products according to predetermined routes and schedules.
• Verify delivery paperwork, confirm product accuracy, and report discrepancies as needed.
• Inspect delivery vehicle before departure and report any issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck throughout the route.
• Use proper lifting techniques and assist in moving large/heavy items safely.
• Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions immediately.
