Job summary

Dean Distributing, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Helper - CDL Trainee to join its Arbor Vitae delivery team. The role offers 4-day weeks (Tue–Fri) and about 40 hours per week, with a starting wage of $21.39 per hour. Training to obtain a Class A CDL is provided, with wage increases after CDL achievement.

You will support delivery drivers, stock accounts, and ensure accurate deliveries, inventory, and invoicing while developing customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Active listening and communication skills required.
• Beverage experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift 175 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Help the Route Delivery Driver as they deliver product to DDI customers.
• Stock/merchandise accounts on the delivery route.
• Fill shelves, manage displays, and rotate stock to keep dates fresh.
• Communicate effectively between DDI and customers.
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery per DDI processes.
• Maintain inventory and invoice accuracy for orders.
• Issue credits with returns and record appropriately.
• Communicate with supervisors and teammates to build plans and skills.
• Train to obtain Class A CDL and advance to CDL Driver.
