Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking a Delivery Helper to assist our drivers with moving products from truck to customer locations. The role involves safe handling of loads and interacting with customers in a professional manner.

Wage is $21.01 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental, 401K/pension, and other employer-provided programs. Scheduling will be discussed during the new hire orientation.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience, interacting directly with customers, required.
• Prior warehouse or dock experience preferred.
• Prior delivery assistance experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work in non-climate controlled environments required.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist delivery driver with loading/unloading of products up to 50lbs/23kg and up to 100lbs/45kg with assistance.
• Interact professionally and courteously with customers.
• Read bills of lading and identify product, collect delivery receipts as necessary.
• May assist in providing navigational assistance to the driver.

Responsibilities:

• Assist delivery driver with the loading, and unloading of products up to 50lbs/23kg and frequently lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg with assistance of another individual.
