Job Requirements and Duties

You must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards, and have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery. You should possess navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area and must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings.

Physical Requirements

• Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position; walking surfaces include ceramic tile with linoleum in some food process areas. Work surfaces are 36″–48″ high.
• Walking: For short distances and durations; delivery personnel travel between the store and delivery vehicle and from the vehicle to the customer.
• Sitting: Paperwork is normally completed in an office at a desk or table.
• Lifting: Bulk product deliveries are made twice a week or more; deliveries may include cases weighing up to 50 lb with dimensions up to 3 ft × 1.5 ft. Cases are lifted from floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72 in tall.
• Carrying: Large cans (≈3 lb 7 oz) carried from workstation to storage shelves; occasional pizza sauce weighing 30 lb carried from storage to front; trays of pizza dough carried three at a time (~12 lb each) over short distances; during delivery carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing.
• Pushing: Move trays on dollies; a stack of trays on a dolly ≈24″–30″ requires a force up to 7.5 lb to push; trays may also be pulled.
• Climbing: Infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenance; during delivery may navigate five or more flights of stairs.
• Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at waist at assembly station; knee flexion limited; duration about 30–45 seconds at a time, repeated continuously.
