Job summary

Domino's Delivery Drivers are on the road and in-store, delivering pizzas and other items with a focus on safe, timely service. You’ll join a team that values great customer experiences and offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement.

As part of daily operations, you’ll learn the routes, handle cash with care, and participate in in-store tasks. A positive attitude and reliable vehicle are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Deliver pizzas, sides, and other menu items to customers safely and on time.
• Represent Domino's in a professional, positive manner.
• Follow traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Know delivery area and routes; read delivery maps effectively.
• Take orders by phone and in person when required.
• Welcome customers and provide friendly service.
• Handle cash transactions and reconcile tips accurately.
• Assist with food preparation and topping restocking as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
• Participate in local marketing activities and distribute materials when needed.

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

• Deliver pizzas, sides, and other menu items to customers in a safe and timely manner
• Represent Domino's in a professional and positive manner
• Follow all traffic laws and safe driving practices
• Become familiar with the store's delivery area and routes
• Read and navigate delivery maps effectively
• Take customer orders by phone and in person when required
• Welcome and assist customers in a friendly manner
• Build positive customer relationships through excellent service
• Accurately handle cash transactions and reconciliation procedures
• Report tips accurately
• Assist with food preparation, pizza making, dough preparation, and topping restocking
• Help maintain store cleanliness and organization
• Participate in local marketing activities, including distributing promotional materials when needed

Minimum Requirements and Expectations:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license and proof of liability insurance
• Clean driving record
• Reliable and safe vehicle for deliveries
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash accurately
• Strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills
• Ability to use Domino's delivery equipment, including hot bags and vehicle toppers
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch-screen system
• Ability to understand and follow written instructions
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and fellow team members
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Near and mid-range vision for in-store responsibilities
• Distance vision for safe driving and delivery duties
• Ability to distinguish between hot and cold surfaces
• Ability to stand, walk, and drive for extended periods throughout a shift

Work Conditions and Physical Requirements:

• Exposure to varying weather conditions while making deliveries and performing outdoor tasks
• Temperature changes between indoor and outdoor work environments
• Exposure to food odors and cornmeal dust
• Working in confined areas, including walk-in coolers
• Exposure to hot equipment and surfaces
• Working around sharp tools and moving equipment
• Ability to lift and carry products and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to push and pull loaded dollies and carts
• Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and stretch throughout the workday
• Ability to occasionally climb stairs or ladders for cleaning and maintenance tasks
• Continuous use of hands and hand-eye coordination for food preparation, driving, and store operations
