Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas is seeking a Delivery Engineer to ensure reliable operation of mission-critical power electronics systems at data centers. You will lead installation, startup, and commissioning of power and cooling infrastructure, while delivering top-tier technical support and customer satisfaction.

With 5–8 years of field service experience and a solid electrical background, you will serve as SME, collaborate with partners, and strive for first-time fixes.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical, or mechanical Engineering, or equivalent Military Electronics or mechanical Training.
  • 5–8 years of field service, electrical or construction experience.
  • Solid understanding of electrical theory and Ohm’s Law.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Experience with 3-phase / 480V power systems is required.
  • Familiarity with test equipment, hand tools, and industry safety practices.
  • Computer literacy including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Key Responsibilities

As a Delivery Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliable operation of mission-critical power electronics systems. You will lead in the installation, startup, and commissioning of data center power and cooling infrastructure equipment, providing top-tier technical support while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for specific equipment or technologies within the team
  • Collaborate with the installation partner to provide installation guidance to meet the equipment specification
  • Collaborate with engineering resources to perform startup and commissioning of power and cooling electronics at customer sites.
  • Assistwith emergency support and troubleshooting for related equipment
  • Collaborate with the service team to provide routine and preventive maintenance on related equipment
  • Strive for first-time fix resolutions and superior customer satisfaction
  • Maintain consistent and clear communication with both customers and internal teams
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical, or mechanical Engineering, or equivalent Military Electronics or mechanical Training
  • 5–8 years of field service, electricia,n or construction experience
  • Solid understanding of electrical theory and Ohm’s Law

Pay Range

USD $140,000.00 - USD $170,000.00 /Yr.

Preferred Qualifications
