Federal Express Corporation is seeking a driver/operator to deliver and pick up packages with courtesy and efficiency. The role requires licensing for the vehicle type and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with equipment or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance since customer contact is required.
• Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the FMCSA safety regulations.
• Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
• Non-covered safety-sensitive position.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and to respond to directions per FMCSA guidance.

Responsibilities

• Driver / operator of company vehicles delivering and picking up packages.
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service features and provide related customer service functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
