NC Hunt Inc. is seeking a Delivery Driver/Yard Help in Damariscotta, ME. The role is full-time with responsibilities including greeting customers, loading merchandise, verifying orders, and maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of local, state, or Federal laws governing the vehicle being operated.
• MDOT regulations must be followed.
• Wear PPE as required while on shift.
• Respond to accidents or injuries by reporting to Dispatcher per procedure.

Responsibilities

• Greet and load retail customers and verify items.
• Initial the invoice once product is verified and loaded.
• Ensure correct product and quantities are loaded before load check.
• Fuel vehicle, inspect and ensure truck is clean.
• Fill out drivers log accurately and completely.
• Communicate mechanical issues to Dispatcher/Retail Store Manager.
• Verify delivery address and product with Dispatcher before departure.
• Handle COD payments or arrange alternatives as needed.
• Pickup delivery orders as requested by Dispatcher.
• Unload material safely and prevent damage.
• Return keys to proper location after shift.
• Avoid engine idling and follow safety rules.
