Job summary

Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc. in Portland, OR, is seeking delivery drivers to ensure safe, on-time transport from the warehouse to plant distribution points according to schedule.

You will also support warehouse tasks between delivery windows and may operate 24' trailers, while adhering to safety regulations and company rules.

Relocation to Portland is required. The role offers 2nd or 3rd shift options, a pay rate of $27 per hour, and benefits after 90 days.

Qualifications

• CDL A preferred but not required.
• Able to proficiently back up, transport, and maneuver 24' trailers with company vehicle.
• Able to comply with company safety regulations regarding operation of equipment.
• Able to comply with all State and Federal traffic laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe and punctual delivery of material from the warehouse to the plant distribution points.
• Promotes a winning business culture in correlation with company values by consistently demonstrating service excellence and a professional demeanor.
• Serves as utility warehouse support between delivery windows by learning a multitude of job functions (kitting, forklift, etc).
• Participates in miscellaneous operational duties as required.
